The autonomous A7, demonstrated at CES 2013, uses a range of cameras, sensors and network data to navigate unaccompanied from your garage to your current location without running anyone down. This prototype is the ultimate conclusion of the sophisticated and very real electronics that will be assisting Audi drivers this year. Wired.co.uk followed Audi to NAIAS (north American international motor show) to find out more.

Tesla’s Cabin Overheat Protection will keep your kids and pets safe overheating

Опубликовано: 28 окт. 2016 г.Electric car company Tesla has released its version 8.0 update on Thursday morning.

According to Tesla’s newsletter, this is biggest UI revamp since the launch of the Model S, this update comes with various updates, from media player, maps, upgraded autopilot system, and a new function called “Cabin Overheat Protection”.

The “Cabin Overheat Protection” function is designed to prevent heat stroke death of children and pets in vehicles. This new feature will automatically turn on the vehicle’s ventilation and air conditioning system when the temperature rises to 105 degrees fahrenheit, although at this stage, the function will only activate 12 hours after a driver leaves the vehicle.

According to Elon Musk’s twitter updates, the next version of update will include user-definable maximum and minimum temperature function.

В первой лекции курса мы поговорим о том, как возникла современная картина микромира, начиная от атомов и молекул и кончая кварками и лептонами; какие экспериментальные данные лежали в основе этой картины, каков современный взгляд на основные составляющие материи и силы действующие между ними.

Лектор: Дмитрий Игоревич Казаков — доктор физико-математических наук, профессор, член-корреспондент РАН, директор Лаборатории теоретической физики им. Н. Н. Боголюбова.

Бренд Ora еще совсем молод — он создан известны производителем внеждорожников в этом году специально для электромобилей. Первой моделью весной стал кросс-лифтбек Ora iQ, теперь представлена серийная версия второй машины —маленький городской хэтчбек Ora R1, который выйдет на местный рынок уже через несколько недель.

В отличие от европейского Смарта, идентичный по габаритам Ora R1 — переднеприводный с полузависимой задней подвеской. На передней оси установлен электромотор с отдачей 48 л.с. и 125 Нм. Максимальная скорость машинки — 102 км/ч, а разгон с места до 50 км/ч занимает 5,6 с.
