Современная технология создания спецтехники с помощью 3д печати вступила в новую эру, когда на днях представила первый, полностью функциональный, полноразмерный компактный экскаватор, сделанный только с помощью современных технологий 3д принтера, экскаватор был представлен на выставке Conexpo-2017 в Лас-Вегасе. Эту напечатанную на принтере землеройную машину создавали студенты нескольких американских университетов в ходе проекта, известного под названием Project AME. Показанный экскаватор, разумеется, является пока прототипом, призванным продемонстрировать общественности и экспертам возможность создания тяжелой функциональной техники с помощью 3D-печати.
Электробайк Lacama, созданный миланской компанией Italian Volt, вместил в себя множество передовых современных технологий, внешне ничем не отличается от множества других средств передвижения, при этом технические характеристики уникального мотоцикла тоже впечатляют: он разгоняется до ста километров всего за четыре секунды, максимальную скорость байк может достигать 180 километров в час, а заряда батареи хватает примерно на 200 километров. Весит он тоже не так уж и много, всего 245 килограмм.
Беспилотный автобус. Компания Local Motors напечатала на 3D принтере беспилотный автобус, а помог в его создании всемирно известный компьютерный гигант IBM. Побаловавшись с печатью городского автомобильчика и спорткара, небольшая американская компания Local Motors занялась общественно полезным делом.
