It's difficult to build a working four-rotor helicopter that spans 100 feet and only weighs 80 pounds. It's even harder when your engine is a 0.7-horsepower person. But one team of engineering students is trying to do just that.

Bio-Hybrid: Wir bewegen am Stau vorbei / We move past the traffic jam

Als Fahrradkurier hält er den Bio-Hybrid Cargo mit geschlossener Transportbox für ein perfektes Fahrzeug für den emissionsfreien Lieferverkehr in der Stadt. Es ist wendig, fahrstabil und platzsparend. Olli fährt am Stau vorbei und findet immer einen Parkplatz. Egal ob Regen oder Schnee – Pakete und Fahrer bleiben trocken. Der Bio-Hybrid gilt gesetzlich als Fahrrad. Olli kann ihn also ohne Führerschein fahren. Stay tuned: Bald folgen mehr „Bio-Hybrid Stories“.

Olli tested our pedelec for a whole day in Munich. As a bicycle courier, he feels that the Bio-Hybrid Cargo with a closed transport box is a perfect vehicle for zero-emissions delivery service in the city. It combines agility with driving stability and saves space. Olli travels past traffic jams and always finds a place to park. Whether in rain or snow – both parcels and the operator will remain dry.
